Father Christmas will be making an appearance at Felixstowe’s Landguard Fort during his busy festive schedule this December.
The historic site will welcome a visit from Santa on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 December for Felixstowe's ‘Big Festive Family Treat’.
The yuletide festivities will take place from 11am-5pm each day and include Christmas themed rooms and displays, craft activities, snow machines and a special trail for children to complete before visiting Santa and the elves and receiving a gift in his magical grotto.
Nicola Barker, General Manager at Landguard Fort, said: “Santa really enjoys coming to Landguard Fort, and we'll be busy making it extra special for him and all his visitors.
“As well as the grotto and craft rooms, there will be an exciting Felixstowe Museum exhibition, as well as hot chocolate, mulled wine and mince pies to buy, along with seasonal music to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.”
Tickets for the event are limited and can be booked online in advance, with early bird discounts available until the end of October. To avoid congestion, visitors will also be requested to choose one of the half-hourly entry times available between 11am and 3.30pm. Any remaining tickets may be purchased on the day, subject to availability.
