This summer the seaside town of Felixstowe in Suffolk is holding a new and unique ‘Yarn Bomb’ trail for all the family to enjoy.
‘Felix the Seagull and Friends’ will run throughout the school summer holidays, starting on Wednesday 21 July 2021. The talented Debby Cloud from The Wool Baa in Hamilton Road (www.facebook.com/TheWoolBaaFelixstowe) has been busy creating ten wonderful new woolly creations for the trail. Starting from the Felixstowe Railway Station, the trail runs through the Town Centre and down onto the Seafront, ending at the Visit Felixstowe Tourist Information Centre beach hut.
Along the way, search for the ten seagulls, collect their names and then work out the big puzzle word. Completed forms can then be posted in the box at The Wool Baa or the VF beach hut. After the school summer holidays there will be a draw to pick out some winners with some fab prizes.
Pick up a free ‘Felix the Seagull and Friends’ trail sheet at the following locations: The Wool Baa, P and K Home Interiors, King’s of Felixstowe, Ruby & Scarlet, Stillwater Books, Hills Jewellers, Suffolk Living, Livia’s Boutique and the Visit Felixstowe Tourist Information Centre beach hut.
The trail has been funded by the work of the East Suffolk Lines Community Rail Partnership, in association with Visit Felixstowe - the official tourism organisation for the town. Also, thanks to Spotlight on Felixstowe Magazine for sponsoring the trail sheet.
