People in East Suffolk are invited to apply for a popular apprenticeship scheme to learn new skills and gain a recognised qualification whilst earning money.
East Suffolk Council has once again opened applications for its apprenticeship scheme, offering a fantastic opportunity to gain real life work experience, new skills and qualifications whilst also being paid.
This year, the successful scheme, which has seen over 80% of apprentices stay beyond their apprenticeship, has 8 exciting opportunities available in a number of teams, including ICT, Customer Services, HR, Food Safety, Communities and Assets.
Cllr Letitia Smith, Cabinet Member for Communities, Leisure and Tourism, said: “We are committed to offering young people opportunities to help them grow and fulfil their potential. Our apprenticeship scheme offers a host of benefits, including a nationally recognised, fully funded qualification as well as training and development opportunities – and of course, you also earn while you learn!”
Applications close on Sunday 12 June and successful applicants start in September.
Want to learn more about the opportunity and roles before applying? Make sure you attend our virtual opening evening on Thursday 26 May between 6pm – 7.30pm. Email HR@eastsuffolk.gov.uk now to book your spot.
