Delays to garden waste collections

Posted by on 12 August 2024 | Comments

A number of waste collection vehicles used by East Suffolk Services were vandalised at our Ufford depot over the weekend, and require repair before they can return to duty.

This will impact collections in the south of the district, therefore waste and recycling rounds will be prioritised ahead of garden waste for the time being.

Any residents expecting a garden waste collection this week (week commencing 12 August) should still present their bins as normal and our teams will get to them as quickly as they can.

Information on which collections have been delayed, and the expected date for these collections to be made, will be available at the end of each day.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
