New Cabinet Member

Posted by on 21 August 2024 | Comments

Cllr Caroline Topping, Leader of East Suffolk Council, has announced the appointment of Cllr Tim Wilson as a new Cabinet member.

Cllr Topping said:

"I am delighted to confirm that Cllr Tim Wilson has been appointed as East Suffolk Council’s new Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Regeneration. Tim is a Green councillor representing Rendlesham & Orford, and has already enjoyed Cabinet experience as the Council’s Assistant Member for Resources and Value for Money.

"Tim is taking on the role in place of Cllr Toby Hammond who has chosen to step down from the Cabinet. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Toby; however, due to increasing professional commitments elsewhere, he believes it is the right time to step aside. While I am grateful to him for his outstanding efforts to date; I fully understand, and have reluctantly accepted, the decision he has taken."
