Nominations are invited for an annual awards programme which celebrates the best building design, conservation and landscape projects in East Suffolk.
East Suffolk Council’s ‘Quality of Place’ awards recognise efforts across the district to enhance the quality of the environment, by creating high-quality designs in both the built and natural environment and helping to conserve historic buildings.
Nominations are judged on quality of design and detailing, quality of workmanship, use of materials and sustainability.
The six categories are:
• Design award – New build
• Design award – Extensions and alterations
• Building conservation award
• Community award
• Landscape award
• Nature/ecology award
Projects can be submitted into more than one category and must be within East Suffolk, have been completed within the last two years (for the design, building conservation and community categories) or the last five years for the nature and landscape categories.
Nominations are now closed.
