Off-street parking places order 2025

East Suffolk Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 32, 35 and 35A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (and all other enabling powers). The effect of the Order will be to regulate the use of and set the charges to be made in East Suffolk Council’s off-street parking places.

The reasons for proposing to make the Order are as follows:
- To provide parking places for the use of the public across the district at the locations listed within Schedule 1 of the proposed Order.
- To regulate the use of the aforementioned parking places through the provisions contained within the proposed Order.
- To apply the fees and charges for off-street parking as resolved by Cabinet in the Fees and Charges setting process for 2025/26.

The proposed Order will revoke and replace the existing East Suffolk Council (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2020 and the East Suffolk Council (Off -Street Parking Places) (Amendment No.1) Order 2021.
