To help improve people’s access to water sports and activities, residents are invited to give their views in a new survey.
As part of its wider commitment to improving leisure opportunities across the district, East Suffolk Council is looking at the current water sports facilities and activities on offer, how many people are taking part in water-based activities and how these experiences could be improved for residents and visitors.
Cllr Sarah Whitelock, East Suffolk Council’s cabinet member for Communities, Leisure and Tourism said: “East Suffolk has a beautiful coastline and variety of inland waterways, and we want to ensure our residents and visitors are getting the most from these locations. Completing the survey will help us gain a better understanding of the ways in which people access the water and the type of activities they are enjoying throughout the year, and where these are taking place.”
The survey, which is being run by Knight, Kavanagh & Page on behalf of the Council, is open until 12 January 2024.
This survey is now closed.
