East Suffolk building control partnerships

Our Building Control Service has created several external partnerships with companies and architects (partners) who regularly use our service. We can guide partners through the plan check process on all building regulation submissions, regardless of the location in the country. For companies that build or design nationwide, partnering can help to simplify and speed up the approval process.

The scheme includes:

  • a fast track approach
  • competitive and consistent charges for plan fees
  • consistency
  • early Input on projects
  • pre-application advice
  • a single point of contact via a dedicated surveyor to ensure all projects are regulatory compliant
  • contactable via mobile phone
  • plans examination and all the necessary consultations, including the Fire Service

Subsequent site inspection work will be carried out by the local authority where the construction works take place, maintaining the benefits of local knowledge through the construction stage.

Further information and Partner Authority Scheme registration details.

Alternatively, if you would like to discuss any aspect of the LABC Partner Authority Scheme please call us for further details.
