The standard tariff of £142.27 (Zone A) or £374.29 (Zone B) per dwelling can be paid via our online Recreational Avoidance Mitigation Contribution (RAMS) upfront payment form (the form will require you to have or create a My East Suffolk account).
Check which tariff relates to your application.
If you are unable to pay via the online form (for example, if you are not making a standard tariff payment, such as for certain types of tourist accommodation, or if you have been advised to make a top-up to a previous RAMS payment), please download and complete this form and make payment either via the Councils website (selecting 'other payments' and RAMS on the drop down box), or by BACS to:
LLOYDS BANK
Account Name: East Suffolk Council
Account Number: 80707960
Sort Code: 30-94-55
(ensure that you use the payment reference “RAMS[application reference number]”)
The form should be sent to s106@eastsuffolk.gov.uk
If you are making a RAMS payment for an application in the Broads Authority area, you can use the online upfront payment form for the standard tariff, or complete the Broads Authority form and make payment via the methods above.
Upfront payments are not released for expenditure until planning permission is granted and development has commenced. In the event permission is refused and no appeal is made, or the permission expires without having been implemented, you can request a refund.
To request a refund, please complete the refund request form and email it to s106@eastsuffolk.gov.uk
Refunds will either be paid via BACS, or where the payment was made by card and the card is still valid, the refund will be made to the original payment card.
