On 1 April 2019, East Suffolk Council was formed – a ‘super district’ authority, serving the residents, businesses and communities of both Suffolk Coastal and Waveney.
East Suffolk Council is served by 55 councillors, each representing a ‘ward’.
There are 29 separate wards in total and some wards will be larger than others, with eight of them represented by three councillors, ten represented by two councillors and finally eleven wards with one councillor each.
