It is now much easier to manage your tenancy using our online service, myHome East Suffolk.

The council has housing officers and rent officers, that look after all our council housing. Officers cover patches so your officer is linked to your address.

When you are allocated a property you enter into a legal contract with the council called a tenancy agreement.

You can pay your rent by monthly Direct Debit and you can choose to pay on either the 1st, 8th, 15th or 22nd of each month.

Empty council properties are usually awaiting repair, redecoration or re-letting and we are keen to ensure they stay empty so that someone on the waiting list has the opportunity to find a home.
