Coastal Card

The Coastal Card is a great incentive to make use of one of the council-owned leisure centres in the former Suffolk Coastal area, and will quickly save regular users pounds.

It offers lower prices at four leisure centres as well as priority booking terms for a number of bookable sessions such as badminton and squash courts.

The card is valid for one year. It costs £22 for adults and £11 for children aged 0 to 15, senior citizens aged 65 and over, full time students, people with disabilities and benefit claimants. For people living outside the district the cost of the card is £44 and £22.

The Coastal Card is available at a reduced rate to people in receipt of the following benefits and allowances, provided that copies of relevant documentation are provided at the time of application:

Local Council Tax Reduction
Housing Benefit
Income based Jobseekers Allowance
Income Support
Attendance Allowance
Disability Living Allowance
Working Tax Credit
Industrial Injury Disablement Benefit
War Disablement Pension
Employment and Support Allowance
Carer's Allowance
Full time students aged 16 and over

How to apply

Ask your local leisure centre reception staff about new applications and renewals.

If you are applying for a card at a reduced concessionary rate, please ensure you have copies of any relevant documentation proving your entitlement.
