The quickest and simplest way to pay the standard tariff of £145.90 (Zone A) or £384.51 (Zone B) per dwelling is via our online Recreational Avoidance Mitigation Contribution (RAMS) upfront payment form (form will require you to have or create a My East Suffolk account).
Check which tariff relates to your application.
If you are unable to pay via the online form (for example, if you are not making a standard tariff payment, such as for certain types of tourist accommodation), please download and complete our RAMS payment form and make payment either via the council's website (selecting 'other payments' and RAMS on the drop down box), or by BACS to the bank details given on the form. The form should be sent to s106@eastsuffolk.gov.uk.
If you are making a RAMS payment for an application in the Broads Authority area, you can use the online upfront payment form for the standard tariff, or request a Broads Authority form by emailing s106@eastsuffolk.gov.uk.
If you have been advised to complete a transfer form, or make a top-up to a previous payment, please complete the Transfer and Top up form and (if necessary) make payment either via the council's website (selecting 'other payments' and RAMS on the drop down box), or by BACS to the bank details given on the form. The form should be sent to s106@eastsuffolk.gov.uk.
Upfront payments are not released for expenditure until planning permission is granted and development has commenced. In the event permission is refused and no appeal is made, or the permission expires without having been implemented, you can request a refund.
To request a refund, please complete the refund request form and email it to s106@eastsuffolk.gov.uk.
Refunds will either be paid via BACS, or where the payment was made by card and the card is still valid, the refund will be made to the original payment card.
