The Suffolk Coastal District Local Plan was the Local Plan for the former Suffolk Coastal area. It was superseded by the East Suffolk Council – Suffolk Coastal Local Plan in September 2020.

Local Development Framework

The Waveney Local Development Framework was the Local Plan for the former Waveney area (excluding the Broads Authority area). It was superseded by the East Suffolk Council – Waveney Local Plan in March 2019.

2004 Interim Local Plan

The 2004 Waveney Interim Local Plan did not go through the full statutory process due to the desire to prepare the documents under the newer plan making system (Local Development Framework) as soon as possible.

1996 Local Plan

The 1996 Waveney Local Plan was adopted in November 1996.
