Skills Audit

There are lots of different ways to identify the skills that might be needed by the community to deliver their preferred solution(s). The example shown below is a simple table which lists work areas, (new) skills needed and who is going to do it.

A more detailed example is included in the Planning Aid publication What Skills Might You Need

A more detailed skills audit will ensure that you understand exactly what skills each group/committee member has to offer (some of this may have been identified at the asset mapping stage).

GovernancePages.org.uk – which is a resource for voluntary and community organisations - provide an example survey.
