    What is the difference between a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and an Invitation to Tender (ITT)?

    We use ITTs for contracts of £75,000 in value and RFQs for anything below this amount. The process and documentation reflects the risk and value associated with the procurement. A tender will likely have more complex requirements, be of higher value and therefore carry a higher risk. Having more comprehensive documents will help to manage these.

  • Ferry Lane Felixstowe AQMA - Revoked

    An AQMA was declared in 2009 due to exceedances of the air quality objective for annual mean nitrogen dioxide (NO2) at the Dooley Inn public house, Ferry Lane, Felixstowe. A Further Assessment was completed in 2010 confirming that the AQMA should be retained, and concluding that container handling activities on the Port, and heavy duty vehicles on roads external to the Port made the greatest contribution to NO2 levels within the AQMA.

    ScottishPower Renewables plans to develop two further projects, in addition to East Anglia One and East Anglia Three, across the East Anglia zone. They were awarded seabed rights for the projects, as part of the Crown Estate’s Round 3 process.
