Public consultation on draft Major Energy Projects Workers’ Accommodation Planning Position Statement

Sizewell C, plus the connections of various offshore/onshore wind projects and interconnector projects (Sealink and LionLink) will require, in total, thousands of workers in East Suffolk during their construction. The Position Statement details the evidence surrounding the workers’ accommodation needs and provides recommendations and guidance to support appropriate workers’ accommodation.  It will be used as a material consideration on relevant planning applications.  The consultation is open until 5pm on Thursday 26 February 2026. View the consultation homepage.
