  • Controlling anti-social drinking in public places

    Introduced under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPO) replace Designated Public Place Orders (DPPO). Any DPPOs still in force on 20 October 2017 will automatically be treated as if they are provisions of a PSPO from that date for a three year period.

    Responsible dog owners understand the importance of clearing up after their pets, and so they take their dog for a walk armed with a poop scoop or bag. They will dispose of the waste when they return home or use one of the Council's dog waste bins or litter bins found across the district.
