Rendlesham Consultation and independent inspection

In August 2014 Rendlesham Parish Council submitted its Neighbourhood Plan and supporting documents to the District Council.

The Rendlesham Neighbourhood Plan has been prepared by the Parish Council following extensive consultation with the local community and sets out its vision for development over the next 15 years.

In accordance with the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 the Parish Council submitted the following documents:

  • The plan proposal including a map of the area to which the plan relates
  • Consultation statement
  • Basic conditions statement

The role of the District Council was to publicise the documents and to invite comments on them ahead of the plan being submitted for independent examination.
