Melton neighbourhood area
Melton Parish Council applied to amend their Neighbourhood Plan area. Consultation on the amended Neighbourhood Plan area ended on 10 December 2025 and the new Neighbourhood Plan area was approved on 23 December 2025.
The Melton Neighbourhood Plan was prepared by Melton Parish Council following extensive consultation with the local community and sets out its vision for development to 2036.
The plan was formally ‘made’ by Suffolk Coastal District Council on 25 January 2018 [minute ref 25/01/2018(8)] and now forms part of the Local Development Plan for the district.
