Westerfield Parish Council are in the process of preparing a Neighbourhood Plan.
Referendum
The referendum for the Westerfield Neighbourhood Plan will take place on Thursday 15 May 2025. Documents relating to the Referendum (the ‘specified documents’) can be viewed below:

The examination of the Westerfield Neighbourhood Plan was carried out by independent examiner Andrew Ashcroft.

Submission
Westerfield Parish Council submitted their Neighbourhood Plan to East Suffolk Council ahead of it being submitted for independent examination. East Suffolk Council publicised the plan and invited representations between 21 August and 9 October 2024. Consultation notice.

Regulation 14 consultation
Consultation on the Draft Westerfield Neighbourhood Plan (Regulation 14 Pre-Submission) ends on 19 January 2024.
Neighbourhood Area designation
The first stage was to designate the 'Neighbourhood Area' – the geographical area the plan will cover.
