Worlingham neighbourhood area
- Worlingham Neighbourhood Plan (made 23 November 2022)
The Worlingham Neighbourhood Plan was prepared by Worlingham Parish Council and sets out its vision for development to 2036.
Following a ‘yes’ vote at referendum on 17 November 2022, the plan was formally ‘made’ by East Suffolk Council on 23 November 2022 and now forms part of the Development Plan for the District.
The council determined to make the plan on the grounds that more than 50% of people who voted in the referendum voted in favour of the council using the neighbourhood plan to help it determine planning applications in the neighbourhood plan area. The Council further considers that the neighbourhood plan would not breach or be incompatible with any EU obligation or any of the Convention Rights.
